Size and Adjustment

1. SIZE CHANGE

This section is intended to guide the operator through the steps necessary to make the changes required to set up the 16339 p715 Semiautomatic Cartoner for erecting and closing different sized cartons. However, the 16339 p715 Semiautomatic Cartoner is a fixed size carton packing machine. The adjustment guidelines are provided in order to use a different size carton on this machine.

It takes the form of a list of locations on the machine at which changes need to be made and detail of what the size change locations need to be set to.  Each location also describes what is being changed, i.e. whether it is width, height, position or change part.

To use this section, follow these steps:

  1. Choose which size carton is to be packed.

  2. View the Adjustment Locations Detail specific to the chosen carton.

  3. Starting at the first location, change the component to the position/part detailed in the Adjustment Locations Detail.

  4. Follow through the rest of the Adjustment Locations changing the position/parts as appropriate.

Each Location is marked on the machine with a circular label with the Location Number engraved on it.

Note- as 16339 p715 Semiautomatic Cartoner is going to be used only for single carton No Size Change is required.
